Pete has what might seem a very unusual way of selling incense. He is an “Historic Trader”, which
means that during the summer he is to be found  at Living History events and battle re-enactments dressed in full period costume and running his incense stall as part of the Traders Market.
Actually it is not quite as eccentric a lifestyle as it might seem at first glance, as these events attract large crowds of spectators In fact thanks to popular T.V. Programmes like “Time Team” there is now a tremendous general interest in anything historical. As a result of this increased interest Historic Traders such as Pan’s Pantry are now part of the thriving Heritage business.
As well as this, Pete can present himself as a Living History Apothecary of any period between 1350 and 1550 plus early 18th Century and Victorian or Steam Punk. (WATCH ME ON YouTube!!!)

Pete held the post of Chairman of the Historic Traders branch of the NMTF from 2001 to 2009 and is currently the Vice Chairman
